Quality and reliability

The parquet of TT Project prefinished plywood falls into class E1 according to EN ISO 12460-3:2015, which guarantees the low emission of formaldehyde, because the adhesive that combines chips or sheets of plywood can release this substance even for long periods. Formaldehyde is a volatile molecule that can cause irritative effects to the respiratory tract and eyes, especially in individuals with allergic or asthmatic pathologies. In recent years, attention has increased on the harmful effects of this substance, especially after the declaration of possible carcinogenic effects by IARC, the International Agency for Research on Cancer. Italy, together with some European countries, has made the use of E1 class panels compulsory for some years.

CE marking

All our traditional and pre-finished parquet floors are CE certified. The CE marking indicates that the product complies with European provisions that provide for different uses: from design to construction, from distribution on the market to the laying of the product, up to disposal. CE marking is the certificate that guarantees the quality and safety of TT Project products.
